Resumo
During the last twenty years, school directive functions have suffered such a decline that has caused alarm among educative authorities. This article studies the reasons for this problem through several theories: determinist (entropy and heritage), stochastic (personal declining and environment hostility), and comprehensive (cross factors and error accumulation). The latter approach serves for a detailed analysis of the so-called 'catastrophic errors' which have caused a 'phase change' toward an irreversible decline situation
