Abstract

This PhD is aimed at analyzing teachers' precautionary training on children's oncology to assure an effective inclusion in the educational field. For this thesis, a sample (494) among a group of teachers, who are currently working, and 4th year of Primary Education students, was taken in Jaén. This thesis design has been non-experimental, through a Linkert scale (collective information instrument). Furthermore, a quantitave and qualitative methodology has been applied. The most relevant results showed the lack of precautionary training that teachers present on children's oncology. Only a few of them did some research on the topic. It is vital that teachers possess information about cáncer to be able to work with children suffering from It, in order to promote an effective and efficient education.
