Víctor Luis Gutiérrez Castillo is a Spanish academic, specialist in Public International Law and International Relations. He is actively committed to excellence in education and training in this field, thus contributing to the understanding of international relations in contemporary society. In addition to his teaching work in universities and specialized centers, he has developed an extensive research career, supported by prestigious publications and the provision of advisory services to various national and foreign, public and private organizations. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of International Public Law and International Relations at the University of Jaén (Spain). Member of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation. Member of the Scientific Committee of INDEMER (Institut Économique du Droit de la Mer de Monaco). Founding member of AssIDMer(Association International du Droit de la Mer) Professor of Master in Spanish and Latin American Law from the Université Paris Ouest-Nanterre in Paris, the Master in International Relations from the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (UNIA) He was Visiting professor at the Université de Bordeaux, Universidad Oriental de la República del Uruguay, Universidad Autónoma de Colombia, Università LUISS Guido de Roma and Università degli Studi di Messina.
