Abstract

The research starts from the main hypothesis of the few innovative strategies that relate the contents of the teaching of French in Ecuador with the practice of tourism. The study was developed under a mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative research. The sampling developed was essentially non- probabilistic and for convenience (intentional). Regarding the population and sample, a sample of 206 high school students was studied. The study was reinforced with a constructive critical analysis of the general FLE curriculum proposed by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education in the year 2020. It was shown that the cultural relationship of the French language with tourism is based solely on the teaching of tourist sites in France, according to the institutions participating in the study.
