Abstract
At present the primary school population is physically inactive. This can lead to poor academic performance. Therefore, a systematic review was carried out in order to find the relationship between both variables. Considering the PRISMA statement, the Web of Science database was used, refining during the years 2019-2023. Eighty-four articles were registered and after applying the inclusion criteria, the final sample remained at 15 research articles. The data show that physical activity generates changes at the physiological and psychological level, which benefits the school performance of those students who do it.
