Resumen

Introducción: Los trastornos de ansiedad son un problema presente en la actualidad que han ido ido adquiriendo mayor relevancia en los últimos tiempos tras la situación pandémica vivida, provocando un aumento notorio sobre la incidencia de enfermedades mentales, siendo los jóvenes el colectivo más afectado. Objetivos: Por ello el objetivo que la presente investigación presenta es el de analizar los beneficios de la práctica de la Actividad Física en el grupo de población adultos jóvenes que padecen trastornos de ansiedad. Métodos: Se realizó una búsqueda científica en Web Of Science (WOS), abarcando investigaciones publicadas en los últimos cinco años (2018-2022). Se fijó una población de estudio de 67 artículos, de los cuales 22 de ellos fueron seleccionados para la base del estudio. Resultados y discusión: Los resultados principales ponen de manifiesto que una óptima adaptación de Actividad Física disminuye los niveles y sintomatología de los trastornos de ansiedad. Conclusiones: Se confirmó que las personas que padecen trastornos mentales son proclives a realizar menor práctica física, lo que provoca una tardía recuperación.
