Abstract

The objective of this study is to make a historical epistemological analysis of Psychomotricity and reflect on the contributions of the authors who contributed, in multiple scientific fields, their knowledge to the birth of this discipline and profession. It is stated as follows: 1. Try to schematically develop an epistemology of Psychomotricity, and identify, deepen and connect psychomotor notions. 2. Uses a quantitative and qualitative questionnaire, aimed at some psychomotricists, of international relevance. 3. Ten key words are identified to verify the presence and continuity of concepts that have allowed Psychomotricity to become a discipline. This historical, critical and neutral study has confirmed the scientific autonomy of Psychomotricity.
