Abstract

We present an art research as action research and as a heuristic and interaction methodological tool to study the social reality and the educational possibilities of the contemporary artistic intervention, hoping to achieve transformations in the social scene. This practice emerges as a response to a sociopolitical problem in the university cultural space and seeks to change the attitudes of the social agents involved. The theoretical framework focuses on contemporary artistic practices from art research and artivism. Methodologically, the process of artivist action is described. The results were the political consequences of the interaction.
