Abstract

Currently in the field of education has been highlighted that students have to achieve some skills and goals that are generating high levels of stress and anxiety, which is why the centers have expressed a concern to improve the quality of the teaching-learning process, paying more attention to the psychosocial factors that are involved, being the Emotional Intelligence and the physical activity essential elements. For this reason, through this work a systematic review has been carried out in order toknow the current state of the subject, as well as the benefits that the practice of physical exercise brings to emotional competence, and this in turn to the field academic. The Web of Science has been used as databases, subsequently supporting us with SCOPUS, obtaining a total of 25 scientific articles, which have subsequently been analyzed. Arriving at the conclusion that Emotional Intelligence and sports physical practice, report in the students a state of physical, mental and academic well-being, which favors the channeling of frustrations, as well as the facility when making optimal decisions before the different stressful situations that they have to face daily, generating a feeling of self-satisfaction for their own work.
