Zusammenfassung

The article presents a bibliographical review on the contributions and potential of art therapy in general and particularly in education. It seeks to make a first approach to the professional readers of education indicating some of its characteristics, which may contribute to improving this area. To do this we will review the aspects that we believe art therapy provides in the growth and development of personality from a therapeutic, educator�s and re-educator�s standpoint, and its potential use in schools and education.
