Abstract
The Spanish Civil Code provides that collation generally refers to forced heirs. The scant dicta concerning collation evidence almost unanimously that the provision of collation does not apply to widowers and widows. Thus, it is considered that they do not have to collate nor can take advantage of others’ collation.
