El aprendizaje experiencial y las nuevas demandas formativas

Resumen

El presente artículo analiza el potencial del aprendizaje experiencial, como estrategia metodológica para afrontar las nuevas demandas formativas, enfocadas al desarrollo de competencias y a la promoción de la capacidad de aprender a aprender. Con objeto de fundamentar esta aproximación, se recurre a la literatura especializada para caracterizar sus peculiaridades y recoger las principales evidencias arrojadas por la investigación educativa, en torno a sus beneficios. Finalmente se describe una iniciativa internacional, que está teniendo un impacto especialmente significativo, en la promoción del aprendizaje fuera del aula.
