Résumé
Food industry is currently under pressure due to lower prices and the fall in consumption resulting from the economic crisis, and the asymmetry among the different actors in the value chain pushing down their margins and jeopardizing their survival. Strategies for getting a larger size through different processes of cooperation and internationalization are alternatives that can enable small producers stay in business, as is happening in the case of Hojiblanca in the olive oil sector.
