Abstract
The integration of photovoltaic systems in agricultural installations, known as agrivoltaics, offers a solution to the land use competition between energy generation and agriculture. The objective of this study is to transfer basic research notions to university students. To achieve this, this work seeks to bring students closer to new trends in photovoltaics through a pilot experience that analyses the impact of different PV materials as amorphous silicon and cadmium telluride on the development of different crop species like tomatoes and green beans within small greenhouse prototypes.
