Resumo

Higher education institutions are currently under pressure to improve the employability of their students in a way that results in improved job placement. However, the demands of the labour market, on a significant number of occasions, do not adjust to the skills acquired by graduates, which forces them to rethink and adapt training processes that, traditionally, only focus on acquisition. of knowledge, forgetting training in competencies –digital and “soft skills”– and abilities, which leads to a lower capacity for insertion and discrimination processes in access to certain jobs. We therefore analyse in this work the disruptive effect on established training and employment models and the specific consequences for the future of work, including discrimination in access.
