Resumen

The main objective of this Doctoral Thesis is the implementation of methodologies for the determination of endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDCs) in dairy products by chromatographic techniques coupled to mass spectrometry. The selected EDCs have been selected based on their worldwide relevance due to their high exposure. The selected EDCs have been the families of parabens, organophosphorus pesticides, phenolic compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Currently, there are regulations that legislate ECDs in food. Due to the complexity of the matrix and its determination at trace level, the combination of several sample treatment steps is required in order to preconcentrate the target analytes and eliminate the matrix containing them. The developed methods have complied with the analytical validations. The methods have been applied to different samples of dairy products.
