Abstract

This doctoral thesis is composed of six publications that analyze the training in coeducation, psychosocial factors and physical activity of teachers in training. It reflects on the role of women in education throughout history in order to understand the importance of training in coeducation. The psychosocial factors studied are emotional intelligence, self-esteem and resilience, which are considered key academic and occupational factors. The level of physical activity practiced is also analyzed. The sample is 442 university students and the instruments used are: the "Gender Equality Training Sensitive Assessment Scale", "Utrecht Work Engagement Scale", "Trait Meta- Mood Scale", Satisfaction with Life Scale, International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form, Scale "Measuring Intentionality to be physically active", "Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale" and "Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale". The results show the correlation between the variables analyzed, justifying the need to address these issues in teacher training.
