Abstract
The transition towards a circular economy model in the European Union has been accompanied by the adoption of strategies aimed at transforming the patterns of economic operation in the Member States. The challenge is to respect the environment without sacrificing economic development. In this context, the management of waste from consumer activities and the management of plastics production play a decisive role. The aim of this work will be to carry out a study of the regulatory developments in this area and the innovations introduced by them.
