La “clase invertida” como modelo innovador en la enseñanza de la gramática inglesa

Resumen

Teaching grammar has turned out to be a challenge in the English classroom. Students feel that grammar is not essential for communication, whereas the teacher deems grammar to be crucial for an effective use of the language. Consequently, the English teacher should contemplate in their methodology not only grammatical contents but also a student-oriented perspective. This article delves into the implementation of the flipped classroom approach for teaching of grammar, which was put into practice with students in the second year of the Primary Education Degree. The experience was developed during the second semester of academic year 2017-18 and is framed in a Teaching Innovation Project carried out at the University of Jaén.
