Abstract

This paper presents the results of the geophysical survey carried out in 2020 and 2021 in regions I and II of the Roman city of Complutum. Exposing the technical characteristics of the prospection and the results obtained, which have served to explain a part of the deterioration in the conservation of the site, ratify the of an orthogonal urban design focused on blocks of 30 by 30 m, raise doubts about a possible alternative street alignment in part of the region I and verify several unique buildings of importance, mainly the one interpreted as a large urban sanctuary.
