Abstract
A brief synthesis of Manuel Gómez-Moreno Martínez’s theoretical and methodological thought is presented through his own biographical profile. His extensive fields of research and his commitment to the ‘Junta para Ampliación de Estudios’, through the ‘Centro de Estudios Históricos’, to set up a synthesis on national prehistory are part of his legacy. The methodological basis of his research, closely linked to the history of art, is also exposed
