Zusammenfassung
The paper presents the initial results from the Research Project “Renewable resources in Jaén province. Current inventory and development scenarios” which is being carried out at University of Jaén, subsidized by Instituto de Estudios Giennenses. Positive evolution of Renewable Energy installations is shown, as a result of a coordinated effort by local administration and supported by the Strategic Plan of the province. Changes on Energy system are also analysed, drawing future actions and strategies to accomplish, from a local point of view, national and European objectives for renewable energy sources contribution to electricity production.
