Résumé

In this paper we present different proposals related to migration, human rights and human trafficking in Spain from the discipline of social work. This article has obtained the necessary information for its development based on a bibliographical review and documentary analysis that can be consulted in the attached bibliography. The results show that in order for the system of global governance of migration to favour States and societies, it is important that migrants are fully involved in the development and improvement of jurisdictional frameworks, their praxis and all the processes related to them. It is also noted that, in Spain, measures to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings have been carried out in recent years. Although the need to maintain the fight against this social scourge is recognised, it is important to make greater efforts to tackle trafficking for any kind of exploitation, including labour and sexual exploitation. Ultimately, the development of actions for the achievement of human rights is important for Social Work. It has to do with transforming actions that provoke cultural processes that do not re-victimise people and that tend to overcome the most simplistic discourses.
