Resumen

Among the requirements for the cataloguing of organic olive groves, it is necessary to prove the absence of pesticide residues in the derived products, which must be analyzed mainly by gas chromatography. Currently, there is no other alternative method to chemical analysis, which is an obstacle for determining the organic origin of agricultural products. This dependency represents the triggering element of this thesis, whose main objective is to provide a complementary tool to the chemical point of view, for the identification of organic olive groves. The results obtained have allowed the development and fine-tuning of a methodology based on the monitoring of the sublethal effects triggered in auxiliary insects as a consequence of the experimental application of a synthetic insecticide. Among the sublethal effects, modifications in the behavior of affected individuals, such as hyperactivity and flight reaction, have been taken into consideration.
