Resumen

The practice of Seitai, and its special way of observing life, through movement, made us wonder about, how our body works in motion. At the same time we observe a lack of methodological offer, in the training and the practice of dance performers. If Seitai generates multiple benefits to people who practice it, , its influence is even greater over the people who dedicate themselves to art. The fact that it defines life in relation to five movements, gives us a solid structure where to base this research on, performed in a controlled environment and having as participants the students of the Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Málaga. This practical research has questioned the idea about the body and its nature, among other issues, highlighting the importance of the concept of an united body.
