L’instance équite et réconciliation au MarocDix-huit ans apres, quelles repercussions sur le respect des droits de l’homme?

Resumen

Although, amnesty and amnesia, phonetically seem very close with different definitions, even so, they are supposed to go together in the case of the national amnesty that Morocco lived within the framework of the Equity and Reconciliation Instance (ERI). The victims, former political prisoners, should forget the suffering they have endured over the years of lead. The amnesty was based on the payment of compensation to the victims of this violation and who could, for those who wanted it, tell publicly the events that occurred during their detention, under the condition of not appointing their executioners. This work will discuss whether, eighteen years after the end of the ERI mission, the objective of establishing respect for human rights in Morocco has been successfully achieved.
