Abstract

This paper seeks to analyze the macroeconomic situation of the countries belonging to the Latin American Integration Association, in the following ALADI, during the period (2006-2015). The constitution of this block is justified by the need to achieve a common Latin American market through the creation of an area of economic preferences. For this, it is necessary to know the macroeconomic situation of each of the countries that make up ALADI and the importance it has had as a bloc since its creation. The qualitative methodology and its approach is descriptive and the result of this work is the analysis of the most important macroeconomic variables to be able to know the current situation and its evolution during the period 2006-2015. Among the variables analyzed, the following should be highlighted: population, economic growth rate, GDP per capita, inflation, unemployment rate, exports and imports, and trade balance. The result of this work is the analysis of the characteristics of the population and the most important macroeconomic variables to be able to know the current situation and its evolution during the period, at the same time as it allows to project the future of ALADI and to know the role or role Which each country assumes within the bloc.
