Résumé
This diary was written by a teenager, the son of a middle-class Republican family. The text was written in three important capitals, Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, all of them intensely affected by the war. The events of the civil war are interspersed with the small events of his own life. This sensitive and curious adolescent tells us what was happening around him, in his family and in Spain. The boy and his family suffered the rigours of scarcity, hunger, fear and relocation, as we can read in the text.
