El jardín de Flora Autóctona de la Universidad de Jaén como recurso en la Didáctica de las Ciencias

Abstract

The University of Jaén Garden of Native Flora (GNF) is a space rich in biodiversity that represents more than 7% of the floral diversity of the province of Jaén. Although it was inaugurated in 2015, it is a space that is still unknown by the university community and the public. To enhance the GNF as a resource in science teaching and to integrate innovative teaching practices connected with the Sustainable Development Goals, two didactic itineraries are presented in the context of the GNF, one on plant adaptations and the other on pollination and fruit dispersal. A series of educational activities are also proposed to be carried out before, during and after the visit to the GNF.
