Abstract

For the recovery to be sustainable, it is not a question of choosing between tackling COVID-19 or achieving the SDG It must be ensured that both res - ponses are interconnected, that immediate action is aligned with long-term objectives, and that measures that guarantee health and socio-economic recovery are pillars of the fight against poverty and climate change too A revised 2030 Agenda, which incorporates elements learnt from this reality, is the most appropriate framework for a recovery based on global solidarity, shared responsibility and collective action
