Sistema informático para la evaluación de la eficacia del sistema de gestión de la calidad en Almacenes Universales S.A

Abstract

This research offers an assessment of the quality management system effectiveness evaluation process in the branch of Almacenes Universales SA in Ciego de Ávila, showing that there are shortcomings in the aforementioned process, since most of the data is stored in handwritten documents making it difficult to collect information and to complete the necessary reports on time. For these reasons, it was necessary to develop a computer system that would allow the entity's Quality Department specialists to carry out the process that is the object of this investigation in time and with quality. The implementation of the Web system was carried out using the PHP Laravel framework and JavaScript VueJS, which made it possible to use it on any platform, it was used as a MySQL Database Manager to enhance query performance and data security. The Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology was used to guide the development process. The proposed system enables information feedback, the creation of survey templates and their tabulation automatically, considerably reducing time and work. In addition, it improves the handling of complaints, suggestions and recommendations. It allows to humanize the work of people since the system automatically generates the Report of Evaluation of the Efficiency of the Quality Management System, which is the center of this process. This software was corroborated according to the quality standards proposed by the ISO 25000 standard and by applying the criteria of specialists, obtaining satisfactory results.
