Abstract

This book deals with the main new challenges of EU taxation, in the face of an incessant flow of economic events without an easy or clear legal response or regulatory support, in a particularly evolving economic crisis scenario, which breaks with the traditional parameters of difficult times. Therefore, the emergence of new challenges will be something that will gain speed in the coming years or even months. The review of the principles of tax justice in the EU, the impact of the competitiveness of European tax systems, the fi ght against tax fraud and money laundering, the evolution of the problems of non-cooperative jurisdictions, customs issues, digital services and the future of green taxation are some of the challenges studied in this book.
