Reconstrucción virtual del rodezno típico de los molinos hidráulicos del Altiplano Bastetano (Baza, Granada)

Abstract

Historically, the area of the Baza (Granada, Spain), due to its geographical importance has been big populations' that have given place to the development of an industry of great relief district. Among other activities, one of the main ones has been the floury one, represented by their hydraulic mills. This communication dedicated to the graphic reconstruction and on-line animation of one of the indispensable elements of the mills, begins due to the scarce documentation that exists at the moment of this topic and envelope the work based mainly on the visit and study of each one of the floury mills of the district, where it was observed that any "rodezno" conserved for its study and possible recovery doesn't exist. It is sought using the necessary graphic tools for it therefore, to give to know a historical, technological and cultural patrimony that remains hidden, giving possibility to their possible rehabilitation and tourist development. Combining these technologies, next to the theoretical study of the rodezno like a horizontal hydraulic turbine that it is, shows us the options of the digital animation that it will be used reproducing with a lot of realism textures and movements, design of the elements, drawing them and modeling them in the computer, as well as the design of the funds, placement of the materials to the elements, realization of the illumination, shady of the pieces of the rodezno, and lastly the " rendering " or adjournment of the information of the files that compose the planes, to a simple frame of the reconstruction.
