Resumen
This paper describes the methodology for implementing geometric studies of little archaeological artefacts by mean of a 3D virtual model. This model is obtainedthrough laser scanner 3D technology and allows us to obtain high accuracy measures in order to analyze the artefact. The method proposed gives the opportunity forperforming these measures in inaccessible zones in the real object, and minimizing the manipulation of the artefact. This aspect is very interesting in order toguarantee its conservation. This methodology has been implemented to a real case: an anthropomorphic feminine idol of around 12 centimetres in length. The resultsobtained with the measuring of the model allow us to extract important conclusions.
