Abstract
The coins minted by the mints of southern Spain have very diverse iconography in their obverse and reverse, particularly with frequent allusions to products from agriculture. Within this wide variety of vegetal iconography, the products of the called Mediterranean triad have a dominant role, especially those images of ears of wheat and grapes.
