Resumen

Currently all the degrees in Spanish universities include TICs technologies a fundamental part of their curricula. The training in TICsoften consist of student learning of office automation tools and operating systems known in the market, which are in most cases, fromcommercial sources. On the other hand, during the last decade has emerged a strong trend of replacing these commercialtechnologies that based on the concept of free software. As a result, many proposed changes appeared in the curricula of courseswhere TICs-based open source tools (SL) loomed as the most reasonable choice to be transmitted to the student. But are we forgottensomething?, "Was not the students train in the profiency to manage computer systems, regardless of the commercial nature, the maingoal?.In this proposal we will try to reflect, using the example of the degree in Public Administration and Management (GAP), about howthe curriculum have not taken into account this profiency to date. We will analice how to transmit the adaptability and versatility tothe student, very difficult to acquire and in high demanded these days in which TICs are so changeable. Maybe it's time to open thedoor for this period of change in the EEES, since it involves very little effort for teachers and enriches the student's training.
