Resumen

Traditionally the studies in the University were based on a closed set of knowledge transmitted to the pupil of synthetic form on a manual. Nevertheless, at present there occupies first place the model of teaching centred on the learning of the pupils and that facilitates the development of competitions. For it we have followed an active methodology in the subject History of the social structure and of the social movements in the Contemporary Spain of the Degree of Social Work in which the vision of movies and the later activities like production of a dossier from the dedicated questionnaire and search of information and a debate constitute a basic element. The cinema constitutes an ideal way to transmit knowledge of pleasant and effective form, and also it turns into an instrument to develop a search of information and to promote the participative attitude.
