Franciscan Hermitages, Brotherhoods and convents tend to coincide inseveral cases. An example of this tendency is the hermitage of Santa Ana of Jaen,predecessor of a convent of Clarisses where a brotherhood with the same name wasfounded in the XV century. Conflicts soon arose when the nuns invaded brotherhood’sspheres of power.
