The first year of university implies for many students an increase in their stress levels, which negatively influence their well-being and social relationships. Therefore, from the educational community, the implementation of programs that help alleviate these difficulties is considered essential, promoting improvements in the personal and academic development of its students. Pursuing this purpose, international universities have created Dog Assisted Intervention programs with the aim of improving the quality of life of their students, finding substantial benefits.
