Resumen

A program developed specifically for the computing shallow seismic-induced landslide hazard maps is presented. The code is based on the logic-tree methodology. Inputs of the program are average geotechnical properties of the materials, their varia- bility (10th and 90th percentiles), size of instabilities (depth of the failure surface), position of the water table and the seismic scenario to evaluate (Peak Acceleration / Arias Intensity maps expected and / or magnitude of the event to be analyzed). Up to 10 empirical relationships can be selected simultaneously to estimate the Newmark displacement. The software automa- tically performs all possible combinations of parameters and evaluates the corresponding forecast map. Finally, the maps obtained with each branch of the tree are weighted to obtain the final hazard map. This tool allows automating the hazard assessment efficiently.
