Zusammenfassung

This work deals with the denomination of the mountain range Sierra de Segura that runs through the provinces of Jaén and Albacete, and the reasons of its name, that in recent years some have changed by the new expression Sierra del Segura, which is inappropriate because it alters the toponymy, the sense and geographical references of these mountains, which is part of the geography and historical memory of the territory, therefore lacking the slightest justification, for which reason it is an incorrect phrase that should not be used.
