Zusammenfassung
The objective of this work is to establish certain keys of the alignment of the Cordovan academic Vicente de los Ríos in his proposal to place Villegas to the peak of the national Parnassus. His aim is to portray the essentials of Spanish lyric to foreigners and to convert it to a (neoclassical) model for the perfection of Castilian poetry. The utilitaria purpose of the edition is obvious, and these "master lines" of De Los Ríos' thinking, present his theoretical legacy about the poetry. Those thoughts are also in relation with various debates that are being held during the XVIIIth century.
