Zusammenfassung

The aim of this paper is to analyze the coherence in an op-ed, written by R. Jahanbengloo and published in the Spanish newspaper El País (18 November 2014), on the evolution of liberal democracies since the fall of the Berlin Wall. In the analysis we will study the specifi c characteristics of the text, as well as the whole communicative process.
