Resumen

In this work we present a methodology to elaborate a landslide database or inventory using digital photogrammetry techniques in La Contraviesa area (Granada province, Spain). The process starts with scanning of photograms, its orientation, and subsequently the stereoplotting of landslides in a photogrammetric workstation by means the specific software Leica Photogrammetric Suite (LPS) that allows stereoscopic vision. The improvement of this methodology in the spatial quality of the inventory regards other conventional methodologies such as digitalization on ortophotography, digitalization on maps and direct digitalization on photograms, is proved in this work, because of the stereoscopic vision for a better photointerpretation and the simplicity of the methodology in spite of errors accumulation. Once the movements have been digitalized, the landslide database are built in a Geographical Information System (ArcGIS), that includes data coverages of movements, other related coverages (MDE and by-products, geology, vegetation, rainfalls, etc.), and infrastructures and urbanized zones affected by the landslides. This database allows the realization of advances queries about landslides, statistical analysis and inventory maps, and it is the stating point of more advanced analysis and models.
