Resumen

This work addresses school dropout and failure from the perspective of students, teachers, and management teams in compulsory secondary education. Besides, it proposes strategies towards preventing failure related to the diagnosis of the Learning Style and development of innovation processes to address educational problems associated with the learning organization. The data is collected through four samples, the first sample of 125 students, a second of 757 students, a third of 221 teachers, and a fourth of 116 people belonging to direct teams. Descriptive analyzes are carried out, and hypotheses are tested. From the results, it stands out that the students' school involvement is the critical predictor of school failure and dropout. The relationship between Learning Style and the student's career choice is verified. The importance of learning organizations for innovation is highlighted.
