Resumen

El objetivo de esta investigación fue adaptar y validar al español la escala Preocupación por Actuar de Manera Prejuiciosa (PAMP). Esta medida evalúa la preocupación por ser una persona prejuiciosa ante los demás o ante uno mismo y la motivación por no desviarse de los principios personales igualitarios. Tras el análisis de validez de contenido, en el Estudio 1 (N = 198) realizamos el análisis exploratorio de la estructura factorial. En el Estudio 2 (N = 383) realizamos un análisis confirmatorio de su estructura unifactorial y se obtuvieron evidencias de validez. En el Estudio 3 (N = 89) examinamos si esta variable modera la relación entre el prejuicio implícito y el explícito. Los resultados confirmaron su estructura unifactorial, sus adecuadas propiedades psicométricas y su validez predictiva. Asimismo, la PAMP moderó la relación entre el prejuicio implícito y explícito. En las personas con baja preocupación por actuar de manera prejuiciosa, el prejuicio implícito y el moderno se relacionaron positivamente; en las personas con una alta preocupación no hubo relación entre estas variables.
