Abstract

This paper represents a first theoretical, and therefore exploratory, approach on the diaphasic variation and its treatment in SFL from a multidimensional and integrating perspective. For this, within the paradigm of the relations between language, mind, culture and society, we rely on theories and advances of different disciplines that focus their attention on linguistic use. We illustrate the theory with the analysis of the expression included in the title through an ethnolinguistic model.
