Zusammenfassung

Women who come to Spain to work most of the time in the management of care, in many cases come from countries with a low level of development. Some of them suffer from some type of disability, compounded by the lack of rehabilitation programs in their countries of origin. We also note that gender violence applied to female migration and intellectual disability is a little-known today, which takes advantage of the vulnerability and helplessness of their victims. The importance of cultural patterns in the socialization process of migrant women, together with the difficulties of intellectual disability, will be among the topics that go deeper, knowing the situation faced by many women who suffer domestic, violence in silence.
