Abstract

The eruption of new computer graphics technologies as a knowledge tool in the field of the Historic Heritage is quite recent. After two decades of working with them we have confirmed their usefulness on the dissemination and the research of Heritage. There are many public institutions, private companies and University research teams using these new tools as a complement in full restoration projects, musealization plans and dissemination of our cultural legacy. In this paper we do a chronological and geographical overview through some Spanish experiences attending to their contributions, tendencies and future.
