Abstract
Patronage linked to the promotion of funeral chapels is sufficiently studied, especially in royal or noble projects. This was not so in the case of funerary spaces by members of the oligarchy in small cities or towns. In their attempt to emulate the noble classes there is an intense activity of architectural promotion of funerary chapels that were located in the parish temples and that could afford from the beginning of the construction. This is the purpose of this communication. The role of patrons of funerary spaces currently forgotten.
